The Student Paper Competition (SPC) of the “URSI-RCRS 2017” is open for applications. Any full-time university student from any country, who is the principal (first-named) author and the presenter of a paper (oral or poster) at a regular session of the URSI-RCRS, can apply for the SPC.
Applications should be completed electronically on the URSI-RCRS 2017 conference website at “https://ursircrs2017.narl.gov.in” by the deadline of January 10, 2017 . Every SPC applicants must be a full-time university student registered in a Ph.D program or in the second year of an M.Tech program at the time of application, and submit his/her

2. Certification letter by his/her Advisor / Head of Department / Principal of the College printed on their official letterhead.
The above documents should be submitted simultaneously through the Paper Submission webpage in PDF format. The applicants should follow the instructions given on the conference website in preparation of their full-length papers. The certification letter should state clearly that the applicant is a full-time university student for a degree at the time of application. For a paper with multiple authors, the letter should state that the role of the authors other than the applicant was primarily advisory in nature. The certification letter should be printed on the university letterhead, signed by the applicant’s advisor, and scanned electronically.
The Young Scientist Program (YSP) Committee will peer-review applications, and select a maximum of 5 (five) finalists at the end of the review process. The finalists will receive
free registration (reimbursement, in case already registered and paid the fees);
free banquet ticket;
free accommodation covering the full conference duration;
The finalists must present their papers at the special session where the YSP committee will judge them and select three winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes). The following prizes will be awarded to these winners:
1st prize: certificate and Rs. 5000-00 (in cash);
2nd prize: certificate and Rs. 3000-00 (in cash);
3rd prize: certificate and Rs. 2000-00 (in cash);
The two non-winning finalists will receive a 'Honourable Mention' certificate. Selection results will also be announced on the conference website.
